Haul Truck Product Tracking and Materials Reconciliation

We have seen in many operations the movement of product from the pit to the ROM is recorded manually, which poses the following risks and challenges:

Risk of product being unloaded to the wrong stockpiles at the ROM
Risk of manual errors in recording of product dispatches
Work overhead, inefficiency and inaccuracy via manual loading of records into information systems across multiple operators and contracting companies

These challenges contribute to:

Inaccurate reporting of the product inventory on the ROM
Lower certainty in planning of processing plant operations and shipping of product
Consolidating the reporting to provide single report across multiple mine operators

The application is designed to run on a standard consumer tablet.

The tablet is mounted in a suitable position in the truck cab, within easy reach of the operator.

Designed to function even when there is no 3G/4G or internet connection.

Records are ‘[synced’ back to the SmartSite master database when the tablem in ‘online’.

The date and time of ALL activities is tracked, providing the ability to detect any loading and unloading activities.
